I always stay crammed up in the house and wind up feeling worse than if I was to get out. I can understand why you have to, though. I just think that staying cooped up makes us feel worse at times. I have multiple chronic illnesses and most of them are autoimmune like Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am on immunosuppressants which suppress my immune system not to keep working against me. But when I get sick they can cause me to be unable to fight a sickness because it's "new". Weird, but true!
