Kiddo Kards Boost Kids Spirits
November 3rd, 2008 by Connie RobertsWhen I opened the tin of Kiddo Kards Bad Day Busters cards I was very pleased with their packaging and the individual cards themselves. The cards are sturdy enough to slip into your child’s lunchbox or backpack and not get smooshed at the bottom. The tin can be reused for tiny treasures later on. But, what are Kiddo Kards?
They are actually a cards for children that parents or other adult figures in their lives can use to help encourage them, boost their imagination and creativity, feel some extra love, fall asleep at bedtime, be kind to others and more.
The tins that are available are:
- Especially For You
- Snuggle Stories
- Once Upon A Time
- My Little Box of Sunshine
- Bad Day Busters
Bad Day Busters has thirty cards that can help you inspire your child to handle something that is difficult. Each card has one line and the rest of the card is for you to fill in with your own loving words. For example, "If you are having a bad day, focus on this thought:"
I used the card that says, "I will always believe in you because:" and filled it in with "you are awesome!" when Peanut was having a test on some math that she wasn’t too sure of, one day at school. I put it in her lunchbox. When she came home from school she was so happy. She said that this card helped her get throught the afternoon and her test. Peanut said, "I was able to be more positive about my test because I knew that no matter what you would love me."

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

I love these! They are so cute and such a good idea!!
My mom used to always leave me little notes. I still have some and they still make me smile as much today as they did when I got them as a little girl!

Those are pretty neat cards to boost self-esteem in kids. I’m going to have to look into a set for to use my daughter.
