They did it! Against all odds, the Tampa Bay Rays made it to the World Series! We are so excited
to see history in the making here in Florida and are proud fans of a team that has been in last place for many years. David Price did a fantastic job pitching in the last innings. He’s one of our favorite new players.
When they won Game 7 against the Red Sox, Hubby and I were going crazy! We were thrilled! Then yesterday, Monday, I immediately checked our email to see if we had won the lottery for tickets to Game 1 of the Series. Our excitement changed to disappointment when I learned that we didn’t win for either Game 1 or 2. So many people that Hubby worked with had won tickets, but we didn’t.
We were told we’re still on the list for Games 6 and 7, so we can still hope. Of course we’ll be watching on TV as we won’t miss it for anything. I don’t know how the Rays will do against Philadelphia but as we’ve seen this year, we never know what to expect from the Rays!

Woo hoo! Go Rays, beat the Phillies!

Okay, I’m gonna sound pathetic here but is it baseball you’re talking about?! I’m embarrassed to even write that!! The only thing we watch on tv around here is Yo Gabba Gabba and Barbie in the Diamond Castle!! I hope your team wins…it would be awesome if you won some tickets!

Way to go Rays!!! It is always exciting when your team is in the series. I am glad you have something fun to look forward to when you aren’t feeling well. Hope you end up with tickets for one of the later games!
