• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Another Lunch With A Blogger

October 16th, 2008 by Connie Roberts

Last Friday I had the opportunity to meet and have lunch with a fellow blogger and Tweeter Deanna from Two Sisters Gourmet Foods blog.

We first met each other on Moms Bloggers Club and then a few months later on Twitter. When we learned how closely we lived we knew we had to spend some time together. We wondered how we would know each other when we met as my photo on Twitter was pink! I thought that maybe we should both wear funny t-shirts. But it all worked out fine.

It was a good time but too short as Deanna needed to get back to work. She only had a short time for lunch and with me talking and trying to eat, we needed at least an hour!

We learned that we are both hard workers. Deanna works as a consultant for Two Sisters Gourmet as well as works full time. We both have adult children living far away. We both like to market our businesses. Hopefully in the near future we’ll be doing some work together. Stay tuned!

Connie, it was so great to meet you. I have to say I felt like we have known each other for a long time. You are an amazing person and I feel like I have a life time friend. We should get together again when I dont have to rush back to work. Thanks for the great company!!!!

That is soooo cool…. Unfortunately, everyone I meet is so far away….. I would love to meet some of you fantastic people on the blogosphere!

That sounds like so much fun! I am usually apprehensive about meeting IRL because I am so shy but it always turns out to be fun. I have met Jules and Lisa who both belong to the forum.

    7. Heather Says:

How fun! I wish I was the kind of person who could just meet people and have it be no big deal. I would totally psyche myself out.
