It can have good accuracy, but you have to enunciate very clearly and correct it when it's wrong. It takes some getting used to, and I definitely recommend having a clip-on mic. It's a good program but there's a definite learning curve. (Although what the program thinks has been said is sometimes amusing. :) ) And the point of NaNoWriMo isn't to write and edit the novel, it's just to get the first very rough draft done, or at least off to a very good start.
