Tickets To The ALCS

We are going to see the Tampa Bay Rays play in the American League Championship Series Game Two on Saturday. The will be playing against the Boston Red Sox. I’m not really into sports, but I can handle me some baseball, especially for a game this big. And for our beloved Rays!

We had to enter a lottery for a chance to get tickets in the first place. We won that. Then we had to try to get tickets online, which was very frustrating. Everyone who won the lottery began trying for tickets at 9 AM. I’d click on the “check for available tickets” button and it would show a timer. First it would say, “6 minutes”, then it would go up to “14 minutes”, back and forth for about an hour. I first made the mistake of trying to get tickets for the second game, but that knocked me off of the first game (there are two home games).

I learned my lesson and stayed on game two. Luckily we were chosen. We got an email with our seats, which are in the uppermost seats, but who cares? We’re going to see history before our very eyes.

I’m already humming, Take Me Out To The Ball Game”. Peanut is planning what snacks she wants and Hubby is deciding what hat to wear. Go Rays!

I am a HUGE baseball fan. My teams are the Detroit Tigers and the New York Yankees, so it’s obviously a very dismal post season for me. I LOATHE the Red Sox, however, and will be cheering loudly for the Rays from Michigan! Have a great time at the game!
