Tampa Bay Rays Are Making Me Fat

Every time the Tampa Bay Rays win a baseball game Dunkin’ Donuts gives out a free donut to every person who says that the Rays won the game the day before. This promotion is called the “Rays Win, You Win”.  *edited to add: this promotion is available in certain areas of Florida only*

Do you know how well the Rays have been doing this season? I’m not a sports fan, but they are currently in the American League Championship Series against the Boston Red Sox.

Tampa Bay, my family and friends and my tummy are thrilled!

   Oh man, now I have a DD craving at midnight! Nice. There is a 24 hr one but the donuts are yucky at this time of the night. I’m totally going there tomorrow and its your fault!!! Chocolate Glazed for me though!!!

   “Rays Win, You Win” has seen 253,170 donuts given away during the regular season, more than double the number from 2007, when this all started.

   They are available in the following 8 counties in Florida the day after a Rays win including the postseason: Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Polk, Manatee and Sarasota.
