I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

Need a break from it all? I sure do. Come and hang out here for a bit and forget about all the problems surrounding us. We all need a break now and then. No politics, no talk of crisis or if the debate will go on….
Just some jokes, photos of me and my family for you to poke fun at and a video to make you smile. Enjoy!

A husband is at home watching a football game when his wife interrupts. “Honey, could you fix the light in the hallway? It’s been flickering for weeks now.” He looks at her and says, angrily, “Fix the lights now? Does it look like I have GE written on my forehead? I don’t think so.” “Fine.” Then his wife asks, “Well then, could you fix the fridge door? It won’t close right.” To which he replied, “Fix the fridge door? Does it look like I have Westinghouse written on my forehead? I don’t think so.”
“Fine.”She says, “Then could you at least fix the steps to the front door? They are about to break.” “I’m not a darn carpenter and I don’t fix steps,” He says. “Does it look like I have Ace Hardware written on my forehead? I don’t think so.””I’ve had enough of you,” he said, “I’m going to the bar!”
So he goes to the bar and drinks a few. Soon he starts to feel guilty about how he treated his wife and decides to go home. As he walks up to the house he notices that the steps are already fixed. As he enters the house he sees the hall light is working. As he goes to get a beer he notices the fridge door is fixed. “Honey,” he asks, “how did all this get fixed?”
She said, “Well, after you left I sat outside and cried. Then a nice young man came along and asked me what was wrong. I told him and he offered to do all the repairs and all I had to do was either give him our television or bake a cake.” The husband said, “So what kind of cake did you bake?” She replied, “Helloooooo… Do you see Betty Crocker Written on my forehead? I don’t think so.”

A group of children, four to eight years old, were asked the question, “What does love mean?” Here are their insightful answers.
Johnny, Age 4
When a person loves you, they say your name different. You just know your name is safe in their mouth.
Dallas, Age 7
Love is when your mom makes a cup of coffee for your dad and she takes a sip of it before she gives it to him, to make sure it is okay.
Andy, Age 7
Love is what is in the room on Christmas if you stop opening your presents and listen.
Jake, Age 6
Love is when a little old man and a little old woman are still friends, even after they know each other so well.
Georgia, Age 7
Love is when you tell a boy you like his shirt and then he wears it everyday.

When Lady Ali was about 3 years old and was in daycare. She wanted something different in her lunchbox one day. She asked me to pack her a “bread doughnut”. When I asked her what a bread doughnut was, she went to the cabinet and pulled out a bag of bagels!

I know a lot of work at home moms through the forums I belong to. They are not only blogging but running a business too. Some sell products on their own websites, on eBay, on Etsy or other online sites.
The women I’ve come to learn are trying to find ways to save time as well as earn money of course. I feel the same way! Hubby and I still sell on eBay and it takes a lot of time to take photos, write descriptions, list and promote as well as ship items. It all takes too much time when you have a family to raise.
With my regular responsibilities my head feels like a whirlwind sometimes. I would love to have a virtual assistant to help with going through emails, handling giveaways, dealing with customers, etc. What would even be better would be a virtual memory stick so I can remember things and juggle all of them.
There really is a way to help all of WAHM’s. Imagine not ever having to go to the Post Office again. Save gas money and over 80% on postage.

I’d rather take my daughter to the dentist to have a cavity filled that take her to a store and buy a Halloween costume. You parents are probably nodding your heads in agreement because you know what is out there. It’s scarier than the watching the movie Halloween alone in the dark.
There’s the aisle of costumes filled with people and screaming children all searching for the same costumes. You’ll find racks of them but never in the size you need, or you’ll find one but it will have a piece of gum stuck to it or a shoe print on it. Then there’s the lack of people to help you find anything. Forget about asking a question, you’ll get a blank look in return because most of the staff is either exhausted from dealing with people or a temp hired for the “holidays”. Yup, this is costume shopping in real life.
Now take a look at finding a Halloween costumes at Halloween Party Store. I just sat back, with Peanut by my side and looked through the children’s costumes. we were sure to check on the measurements included with the sizes since she’s quite tiny. I’d suggest that for everyone.
Peanut chose a Jasmine costume because we go to Disney a lot. She figured she can wear it after Halloween when we go to Disney. I wonder where she got that thinking from? What can I say, I taught her well! The costume included a top, pants with a nylon draping over it and a headband too. It is very well made and fits her perfectly.
I was pleased with the quality of the costume and it reminds me of those sold at the stores at Disney and the Disney Store. And those are very expensive! This is something that she can use for our trips to Disney, for dress up and something I can give to a friend to use again.
Take a look at how she looks compared to the picture from their site. She seems quite happy to me.:

Now all I need to do is eat buy some Halloween candy and enjoy trick or treating.
I love Family Review Network!
