How could I ever think that a trip to Disney wouldn’t be fun? What’s wrong with me? I know that if we were terribly sick it would be bad but thank goodness Hubby, Peanut and I weren’t really sick. We were all in bad moods and just plain tired. It all worked out though and we ended up having a great time.
We stayed at Coronado Springs which is really a convention resort and it was in full gear this weekend. There were lots of union members and other businesses there for conventions. It’s was not very family friendly this weekend as their were a lot of drunken people walking around, hanging out by the outdoor bar and in the huge lobby area by the fountain. Nothing too wild, but sometimes I felt like I had to put my hands over Peanut’s ears.
We didn’t spend much time at the hotel though. We made sure we did a lot since we really had only one day for the parks. We woke up early on Saturday morning. First we went to Animal Kingdom and later in the evening we visited Magic Kingdom.
We had lots of laughs and enjoyed ourselves. We finally got Peanut to see the Festival of Lion King. She declared that it was “perfect”. I’d say this quick trip was perfect too.
