• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • True Love

September 2nd, 2008 by Connie Roberts

friendsPeanut and our fur baby Little Bit have always had a “thing” for each other. It could be because while I was pregnant he was with me as my belly got huge and I was lying around the house all day and night. I was a high risk pregnancy and spent most of my time just trying to keep food in me and stay awake. All that time Little Bit wrapped himself around my baby bump and made sure that things were going OK.

After Peanut was born it was as if Little Bit knew her already. He never, ever jumped in her crib. He stood watch though. When she grew older and was able to be on the floor that’s when his real work began. He’d make sure she was safe, that she was happy and if she began to cry he’d come to me. true love

When she was old enough to pull his hair or tail, he took it in stride. He was her perfect play buddy. She’d put blocks on top of him, push him around like one of her “stuffies” and sit on him.

Now that they’re both older, only the two of them will bump heads. I’ve learned that this is an intimate greeting. The vet was surprised to see Little Bit bump heads with Peanut but not me. Oh well guess I don’t count as much any more!

My cat was the same way. She loved Boo, but was not at all as open with Hunter. It was just the way she was.

No cats here – instead we have pets of another sort and the first time I see Amanda cuddling on the couch with them that’s just going to be weird!
