Returns and the Male Species
What is it about men returning something to a store for a legitimate reason? What if it’s just an exchange? I went shopping a few weeks ago with Peanut and my friend and her children. When we were at the checkout I realized I forgot to buy coffee. And I had a coupon. And it was on sale.
So I sent my friend’s oldest son to get the coffee fore me. I didn’t think to tell him that I needed regular coffee. I didn’t check it. Hubby did when he went to open it though. Since he was going back to the same store that day I asked him if would exchange it for his caffeine kick that he needs. I even had the receipt.
Nope, out of the question. It was like I was asking him to return tampons or diet pills! What’s the deal with this? Is it a “man” thing?
Will your husband return or exchange items? If not does he give a reason?

I can usually get my husband to return things to the store, but I also have an unusual husband in more ways than one!

My fiancé and I are both equally as likely to return things, so long as the items are worth $10 or more. Less than that, it probably isn’t worth the gas to drive it back to where we got it from.

It must be a man thing. My husband is waiting for a fight, that usually never takes place. LOL

I don’t have a hubby yet, but my step dad does not return anything, that may be because he doesn’t keep receipts either. My mom always has to do it.

Men generally don’t like any type of rejections, so they try to avoid situations that could involve rejections.
