		<description>Going to pledge today, not that I have ever used that word (atleast since I was old enough to understand the meaning of it).

I work as a personal assistant for a person with a physical handicap and we've talked a lot about issues like this, and some people assume that just because you can't walk on your own - nothing else works...

		<description>I pledged last week and have the same badge on my blog. My son is going into a MRS class for Middle school.  It stands for Mental Retardation Severe.  Not sure why they classify it that way.  He has always been in autism classes moderate to severe, but I wanted him to go to a traditional calendar school and not year round like they have here in Los Angeles.  This is what they had available and most of the kids are visually impaired.
