• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Shopping is Hard Work

I’d much rather shop online than go to a store, especially one of those huge discount stores like Wallyworld. I swore I wouldn’t shop there any more but with finances so out of hand lately I’m not only shopping there, I’m back to using coupons too.

They’ve re-arranged our Wallyworld and I swear that they’ve done it to purposely make people walk around the store three times to find what they need. Nothing is in any logical order. You think that you’ll find a product in one place then realize that you’ve looked down all the aisles and end up having to go to the other side of the store (again) to find what you want.

There I was today feeling so tired that I felt like falling asleep even before we started shopping, dragging along Peanut who slept about 5 hours last night so was crankier than me, trying to find cheap food, toothpaste, deodorant and other things, with coupons. Oh yes, it was one of those oh so special kind of days.

But we survived. I saved about $15 in coupons which made me feel a bit better. When we got home and unloaded the groceries, Peanut and I fell fast asleep. It is really tough to shop for bargains.

I agree with you completely Connie. I would much rather shop online! It’s tough with little ones :) Good for you for saving $15!

I so concur with you on this one! Shopping just wears me out and I’d really rather just avoid it all together. The worse thing is that lately no matter whether I have a list or not, I always forget something and then have to go back. Ugh! Today I forgot eggs and cream cheese – two things I really needed for making a cake this weekend. Yeesh!
