• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Outlet Plugs Unsafe?

August 2nd, 2008 by Connie Roberts

Safety Caps Sometimes it takes a tragedy like a baby getting choked by window blind pull string or a baby being injured in a crib in order for changes to be made to product safety.

George DeCall’s daughter almost choked on a plug protector. After that happened he realized that something had to be done so that no other child would be harmed. He invented SafetyCaps.

They are larger than regular outlet plugs and have air holes. These holes are the same found on pacifiers. They are inexpensive, only $3 per dozen or $14.99 for 48. You can receive a $3 coupon for referring three people to the SafetyCaps site. *Please note you can view this site in IE only.

These make a unique baby shower gift, or would be perfect for any expectant parents or places where children are present, like doctor’s offices, preschools, day care centers, churches, etc.

Please remember if you remove a plug protector to either put it up high where your baby or toddler can’t get at it or to replace it right away.
