Follow Up In Two Weeks

When I saw the Nephrologist on June 30th he said that he wanted to see me for a follow up in two weeks. When I got my prescriptions for my labs and medicine and tried to make my appointment, I was told the only available appointment was at the end of July.

I didn’t even blink. I’m used to this happening as are so many other people with chronic illnesses. Of course it doesn’t mean I’m not worried or angry. It also means playing the waiting game to find out what my diagnosis is and to learn the results of all of my tests. So far every time I’ve tried to call the office to get my blood test results the phone has been busy or on service.

I’ll keep calling though. I don’t give up that easily.
