• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Sick and Tired of Hearing About the iPhone

July 12th, 2008 by Connie Roberts

While I was online yesterday all I was heard about was the new Apple iPhone 3G. People on Plurk and Twitter was posting about it. There were blog posts every where. I read about how people were counting down the hours until they could pick theirs up. Then, the chatter changed.

The excitement was now frustration and anger. People were tweeting and plurking about how they couldn’t get their iPhones to work. Some were so angry because their expectations to begin using the faster device didn’t pan out.

I don’t know a thing about iPhones, but I learned more than my share yesterday. I don’t know if the glitch that caused people to not be able to activate their phone was caused by lack of Mac memory or just too much demand but I do know it was quiet annoying after a few hours of all this chatter. I guess it’s because I don’t own one.

Maybe if half the world was chatting about brain fog, hypokalemia or Sjogren’s Syndrome I’d understand.
