• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • What A Change

July 7th, 2008 by Connie Roberts

Peanut is maturing so much these last few months. I realized it today with some of the statements she said to me and to Hubby.  She’s taking on much more responsibility. And that’s without us having to bribe or threaten her. She’s also been been able to keep herself happy by playing computer games, reading, playing on her Wii and her Nintendo DS and talking on the phone with her friends. She’s having play dates that she’s asked for and has made the initial contact to set up too.

She knows about how I’ve been feeling physically and is already planning ways that I can be happy at Disney. She’s researches the viewing times for the animals at the Animal Kingdom Villas where we’ll be staying.

Yesterday at church she was upset because she couldn’t take part in communion too. We’ve begun talking about what she needs to do in order to show that she’s accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. That’s made me happiest of all.

All in all, she’s growing up!

That’s so sweet that Peanut is thinking about what’s going to be best for you while you’re at Disney. Sounds like one thoughtful daughter you have there!

It thrilled my heart to hear that Peanut is asking questions about Jesus Christ and communion. I know you will help guide her in the right direction by the faith that you live by. She is a wonderful daughter to be so helpful around the house.
