Vacation From The Internet?

As our vacation gets closer I am beginning to think about my time away from my desktop computer. Usually when we are at Disney I’m so busy that I don’t concern myself with this. I’m having way too much fun especially with my family to worry about my blogs, our eBay store, our website, Squidoo pages or email. This time around though, I’ll be spending most of the day indoors and most likely at the hotel. I may even end up in our hotel room if I continue to feel this poorly.

What will I do with my time? Yes I’ll be bringing along lots of books. We can rent DVD’s for free. I know I’ll be sleeping too. But no internet?? Can I survive six days without it? I don’t have a laptop so I’m pretty much stuck. There’s always the pay as you go computers in the hotel but those add up fast. I can ask Hubby to drive me to a library but I really don’t think that’ll go over too well.

That’s one of the things we’ve been deciding about for almost a year now. Should we splurge on a laptop? Now with the upcoming wedding it’s a big fat “no”. I do need to speed up my desktop as I’m pushing its limits a great deal. I’ll look into prices of dell memory and see if it is something we can afford now or not.
