• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • End of Vacation Bible School

June 28th, 2008 by Connie Roberts

What a great celebration last night for the end of Vacation Bible School. I had to be there so my Mom drove me to get my blood test, took me and Peanut to lunch and then picked up some dinner for us. This way I didn’t have to cook dinner. I was able to nap for two hours in the late afternoon so that gave me some energy to be able to go for the parents’ get together at 7 PM. For some reason that’s about the time I keep falling asleep each night.

I was so happy that I was able to go. Most of the time I had to half sit, half lie down in the chair but I got to see all of the children especially my Peanut sing and dance to the songs, listen to them recite their verses and watch a puppet show.

I was supposed to teach this year but wasn’t able to do so because of my health. It’s so nice that people turned out to volunteer though. Peanut really had a good time and learned a lot. Tomorrow at church she’ll be doing a song along with the other children. That allows the members who weren’t able to attend VBS see some of what the children learned.

Glad you could make it to watch.
A friend of mine from church, his son was baptized at his VBS in Oklahoma a couple weeks ago.
