Geeks To The Rescue

Although I have three blogs and help out a bit with our website, I’m pretty computer illiterate. I try, I really do. I learn things and then make the same mistakes again. Some information I just can’t understand. My theory is that my brain can only handle so much information. When it reaches its limit that’s it. There’s no more learning or remembering going on here.

I have wonderful blogging buddies and friends from groups that help me out quite often. I feel guilty asking them for help all of the time. Sometimes there’s a computer problem that can only be fixed here at my home. I usually bug Lady Ali for that but her visits home are few and far between. With her moving to Kansas soon I won’t have her help at all.

I need a home computer repair company that could make house calls. Fast-teks is a service that provides all kinds of services that I can or could have taken advantage of like, setting up wireless service for Peanut and my computer (had to ask a friend for help), checking to see if it is worth it to purchase more memory for my computer and instruction on how to backup my important information I’ve stored on my computer.

I noticed that they are partners with TigerDirect. I’ve done business with them before. They were reliable and efficient. This makes Fast-teks sound even better to me. I also read through their testimonials.

I’m sure that the techs deal with all kinds of people including real newbies. At least I have a working knowledge of a computer. I’m sure I can ask the right questions and not sound like I don’t know anything!
