• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

    shower stall
I have a question that is kind of embarrassing, but it’ll be fun in the long run. This is a bit of a problem for me so if you’d be kind enough to comment here it would help me out.

When you take a shower and need to shave your legs how do you do it? Do you stand up and put your legs against the shower stall? Do you use a shower stool? Do you sit on the shower floor?

I can’t sit on the floor, or put my leg up against the wall. If I did I wouldn’t be able to get up from the floor or I’d fall. We don’t have a seat in our shower so I’m basically shaving my legs out of the shower. With my dry skin due to Sjogren’s Syndrome, that is makes it not only painful but makes chop meat out of my legs. Bandaids end up becoming my friend.

    So what do you do?

Since I have a tub shower, I usually stand and put one leg on the wall/edge of tub. Once in a while I sit on outer edge of tub and put leg on inside wall and shave. I was definitely a man that designed a tub/shower….lol….not a woman. Us women would have put a seat in there.;)

I do a balancing act being that I have an old claw-foot tub and there’s no walls anywhere! It’s just easier NOT to shave my legs in the shower but to do it elsewhere otherwise I’m sure I’ll tip over at some point! A shower stool would be great, though!
