• About

    I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Can’t I Move Into Disney World?

    April 11th, 2008 by Connie Roberts

    We just got home a while ago from second home at Disney. Since we’re DVC members, we tet to hear, “Welcome Home” when we get to our resort and when we check in.

    We had a great time as usual. I can never tire of the place although we’ve been there hundreds of times. We also didn’t get to do all of the things we wanted to try again.

    We wanted to try some of the boating trips at Old Key West Resort, a horse carriage ride at Fort Wilderness and go to the Pirate and Princess Night. We didn’t get to do any of those things. We did go to the Hoop De-Doo Show and Dinner. That was a blast! I didn’t even care that we felt rushed eating because the show was so much fun. Just perfect for me with it’s corny humor.

    Hubby and I even got a night and day alone. Lady Ali took Peanut for a night then over to Universal Studios for the next day. She had fun and it was so nice for us to have some time to ourselves.

    I’ll be sure to post photos soon.

      Sounds like you had a great time! I’ve only been to Disney once while I was down in Orlando for a conference so I didn’t really get to see too much of it. I’m just not much of a tourist to be honest.

      I am glad you had a good trip. When I took my kids to Disney World a few years back, we had a blast. We want to go back as soon as we possibly can. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers for me and my family. It means so much to me. God bless.

      Here via Blog365;
      First, what a nice, clean, friendly theme.

      Second, HUNDREDS of times? How old are you??? Wow! We make it about every 3-5 years. I just can’t imagine what it would be like to go even 50 times, in case you were exaggerating just a little. :)

      Yes,

      You WILL be able to “move into Disney World”, when their development, with Four Seasons Resorts is complete… right, smack-dab in the middle of Walt Disney World.

      “March 1, 2007 – LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will build a luxury hotel and 18-hole championship golf course along the northeast border of Walt Disney World, theme park officials said Thursday.

      The Toronto-based luxury hotel chain is part of two expansion plans that will take eight to 10 years to fully develop and will include single- and multifamily vacation homes, fractional ownership homes and a 450-acre retail, dining and lodging district, said Meg Crofton, Disney Worlds president.

      “This is a first-of-its kind development for our company, Crofton said. Four Seasons is a world-renowned brand known for its luxury and appeal. ”
