Today is Good Friday. Although I am not Catholic any longer I wanted to do something even if it was just a small thing to recognize this day. So I went back to my past and decided to not eat any meat today.
OK let me tell you I sacrificed. We decided to eat from Long John Silvers. I had my Mom and Aunt come over and Hubby picked up the food. It was awful. They must use old oil to cook the food in or peanut oil or some kind of horrible oil. All I know is that when I started eating I got a terrible taste in my mouth. No I didn’t stop eating, that would have been too smart.
I had shrimp, clams and fries. All bad. The coleslaw was good. But oh my gosh it really wasn’t good at all. This is my last time eating there.
I shoulda had oysters.
