    I guess I’m getting old, I hit the big 4-5 last week, so according to both of my daughters I’ve hit “old age”. I don’t know a lot of the slang that’s used now a days. I try to keep up. I’m on the internet a lot. I know what Rick Rolling is, but there’s a new word I’ve heard.

    Peanut who’s nine uses it all of the time now. I don’t get it but it does make me laugh. She blurts out “random” to herself, to me, to her friends on the phone, to the computer, to her video games, to the TV and even to books she’s reading.

    My Mom, her grandmother, said that it drives her up the wall. It doesn’t bother me in the least. I remember when I used to say, “yeah right” and I’d get smacked for it, or a shoe thrown at me. Yes “back then” my parents hit me. I lived. I got over it. Random…
