Peanut’s school’s Spring Break isn’t until April 5th. Easter is March 23. I’m so confused about what’s going on this year that I think I may just crawl under a rock and stay there until next year.

I know that the time for Easter is set by the phases of the moon in spring. This year it is the earliest it can ever be. So I guess this is why Spring Break is late. I’m assuming.

The other problem with the school schedule this year is that school was closed for the whole week of Thanksgiving. Even though I’m a Work at Home Mom, that made life stressful. I don’t know about you but I’d much rather go grocery shopping without my child. Back on topic, this week off means that school will now go a week past Memorial Day, into the first week of June.

A lot of parents, teachers and staff are in an uproar over this schedule. I believe that because of the many complaints that the school board will be changing next year’s to have the students out before Memorial Day. I sure hope so. And I hope that Spring Break takes place closer to Easter like normal.
