Stamping It Out
March 14th, 2008 by Connie Roberts
I have so many address labels that if I put them together in one long strip they’d probably reach the moon. The problem is that I didn’t order them. They are those freebies that come with a plea for a donation to a charity I’ve never heard of, or one that I don’t want to give money to, or one that I don’t agree with.
The labels have a few problems. They may have my name wrong. I kept my maiden name and took my husband’s name when we got married. So I’m one of those old feminists who have a hyphen in my name. The labels I get either have my last name totally wrong, put my maiden name initial as my middle name or leave off my maiden name. I also go by the name Connie but these labels will have my formal, given first name (if I tell you it, I’ll have to kill you). Then there’s the pictures, dorky illustrations, bleeding heart charity symbols or images of snow or something else totally not relevant to my life.
VistaPrint has these awesome address stamps that are pre-inked in red, blue or black. You can use their design template or make your own. You can even use most files from your digital camera. I can put a photo of the beach which is one of my favorite places. The stock images contain wording like “Paid”, “Received”, “Fragile” etc. plus three and four line addresses.
These can be used for small businesses or for personal use. The cost of 5000 impressions is well worth it and if you use coupon code “Stamp 25″ you’ll get 25% off your rubber stamp order.

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.
