Is it because I’m getting older now that time seems to slip by more quickly? I feel as if it was just Monday. I remember getting Peanut ready for the FCAT tests, praying with her and helping to calm her nerves.
Then it was my birthday. What fun I had with my family, the emails and phone calls and blog comments. It’s silly how little things like this mean so much to me but they really do. Hubby always calls me a cheap date because it doesn’t take much to make me happy.
The rest of the week was a bit of a bummer due to this fatigue flare-up but it’s getting better. I’ve been awake since early this morning and I’m surviving so far. I’m going to take a break for lunch and a quick nap before I pick up Peanut from school. Hubby and I promised her that she could rent two video games since she finished her tests and acted so mature this week.
She needs some new clothes and shoes. Tomorrow we’ll do a little shopping as she’s getting so tall and she’s grown out of her sneakers and Sunday shoes. It’s good to have something planned to get out of the house for a while.
Palm Sunday she’ll be singing at church and walking down the aisle with palms. My heart is so full of joy!

Good grief! I missed your birthday! I feel so neglectful. Belated best wishes for a fantastic year and honestly, don’t worry about being 40 as it really isn’t too much different than being 39. Of course, this is coming from a woman who turns 50 in less than 6 months and still can’t believe that’s possible!
