• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Ready for The Big Day

March 10th, 2008 by Connie Roberts

Peanut is tucked in bed. We said special prayers before bed about the FCAT testing that starts tomorrow. She got lots of emails from our church family telling her that they’re praying for her and that she can trust in God.

She didn’t eat too much dinner as she started to get a little nervous. I didn’t make a big deal out of it. She took her bath and I let her have whatever snack she wanted before bed. She ate some Goldfish crackers, read a little and by 9:30 PM she was asleep. It took her a while to sleep but that’s OK.

After she fell asleep Hubby and I were finally calm. We felt like a big hurdle was over. If I could drink I’d pour myself a big glass of wine in a beautiful Riedel glass. I can’t drink so instead I’ll visit a few blogs and then get to sleep.

I want to be sure that I’m up early with her, that she can have a chance to eat a good breakfast and get to class on time.

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, my Friend! …and many many more to come. Go out and celebrate with Hubby and Peanut…. or just with Hubby. heh heh.

Very happy for you and I know you are grateful to God on how He has blessed you richly with Love and favor.

I remember those FCATs I hated them :( Good luck to your daughter! They aren’t HARD – just long and monotonous ….
