So now I can’t sleep. And of course I have to wake up early for Sunday School and church tomorrow. Wouldn’t you just know it? I feel a bit like a child on Christmas Eve…too excited to sleep and afraid I’ll miss the good stuff if I do.
This happens to me quite often. I did it the night before the Florida Title 1 School’s Convention and before Peanut’s surgery and before our days when we leave for vacation. It’s so silly that I feel ridiculous writing about it. But it’s my reality.
Now if I take my medicine for anxiety will it make it too difficult to wake up in the morning? I know it’s going to be a battle anyway. Where’s that Pixie Dust when I need it? I’ll just think of my comfortable bed calling to me so I can hopefully get some shut eye. Then I’ll be awake on time and alert for the Sabbath tomorrow.

Ah sleep – too much of it or not enough of it really tends to mess us up, doesn’t it? Good luck finding the Pixie Dust!

That’s terrible when we can’t sleep. I suffer from anxiety and I now how it feels. I have some SOS pills that I put under my tongue when I can’t control my anxiety. They call me down without making me sleepy.
I hope you’re feeling better now.
