The Eight Meme
February 16th, 2008 by Connie RobertsJulie from Julie’s Journal tagged me for a meme called Crazy Eights. I’ve been putting it off because I’m kind of sick of memes but this one seemed original to me. You have to put some thought into to it too, not just answer questions off the top of your head. So here goes:
8 Things Im Passionate About
1. My faith in Jesus Christ – it keeps me going and makes me happy!
2. My family, especially my Hubby and daughters – they are so important to me. My extended family is always there for me. It’s a good feeling to know they all have my back.
3. Blogging – finding my voice after years of being sick, sad, depressed and angry has helped me get my life back on track.
4. My church – it’s my second family and knowing that it spreads the Word of God to our community makes me want to work hard to keep it growing.
5. The United States – sounds corny, but I love my country. I don’t agree with all that our government does (i.e. the war in Iraq) but to have the ability to speak out against it (even though I support our troops 110%) helps me to know that I’m blessed to live here.
6. My daughter’s education – I have one applying for graduate school and one in elementary school, but I’ll fight for them to have the best education by volunteering, being involved, and providing the money necessary for them to attend college and post-grad school.
7. Reading – yes my family can’t survive without computers, video games, webkinz, etc. but books come first.
8. Health – Since I’m sick I am sure to maintain my younger daughter’s health. I can only advise my older daughter.

“Your Song” and “Eleanor Rigby” – both excellent choices and great songs! I love them both. A sense of humor is at the top of my list, too, when it come to friendships. Definitely mandatory!
