Memory

My desktop is now about 4 years old. It’s done it’s job well. It’s handled a lot of research when I first became sick, kept tons of photos from our vacations and special days, holds in memory my family and my mother’s banking information, ebooks, images, templates, backup files, etc….

But now it’s at the point where I need more memory. No matter how much backup I do there’s not enough to run it smoothly. Writing emails and posting to boards is extremely slow, so slow that I often use Notepad or Works to type then copy and paste. It’s slow to load pages too. So blog hopping takes forever.

I’m either going to have to buy new memory or hold out and wait for our tax refund and buy a new laptop. It’s actually my dream to own a laptop so I may just stick it out for a while longer. My Pastor talked to me tonight about how inexpensive laptops are now. I think I’ll see how it goes with our taxes and then make my decision.
