We celebrate the Lord’s Supper once a month at my church. Tomorrow is our Communion Sunday. This is always a special day in the life of my church. We come together as a Christian family, ask for forgiveness of our sins, and then take part in the sacrament.
We should always examine our lives and all we do in accordance with the law of the Word but these special Sunday’s help us to do so more effectively. We are asked to examine our hearts and to seek God’s forgiveness and guidance especially if we continue to commit the same sin over and over.
Being part of a church, attending services and being accountable are all necessary in living a life of God’s will. It is too difficult to do on our own. We fail too often. It is of course a commandment of God to make holy the Sabbath Day but to not do so causes so many problems in our lives. We don’t have the teaching we need, the fellowship we crave and the guidance of those who can help us along the way.
I love my church family and always look forward to attending church and Sunday school. It’s not easy to wake up and be bright eyed but when I get there I do fine. It’s also not easy to go when I’m not feeling well but I push myself and go and very often I feel better.
I pray that you have a church family. If not, please go “church shopping” until you find one.

I have a great church family as well. I think it is always awesome to see other bloggers talking about church and God and putting out those little nuggets of info and blessings out there. Great job and God bless.
