Yup We’re Home

We’re back home from Disney World. We had a lot of fun even though I wasn’t in the best of health. We only got to see Magic Kingdom but it was really decked out for Christmas this year. Cinderella’s Castle was gorgeous with new lighting that made it look like ice was hanging down from the walls.

There was a new fireworks display that was unreal. It used lasers on the Castle to portray different winter and Christmas themes as well as an outstanding fireworks display. We got to see that both Sunday and Monday nights.

Sunday the park was open until 4 AM. If only I could handle it, but we figured it be best to rest up instead so I and Peanut could stay awake for the New Year’s Eve fireworks the next day. Good thing we did as we all were yawning as 11:50 PM came around.

I just love anything Disney and although I felt like sleeping most of the time we were there, I got to enjoy some really special moments as usual. There’s nothing like a little Disney magic to brighten up my days.

  1. It sounds like it was lovely and I’m glad to hear you got to stay up for the NYE fireworks despite the yawning! Best wishes for a magical New Year!
