Woo Hoo! Today is Saturday! Peanut and I are doing a Mommy and daughter day. She needs new sneakers so we’re going shopping. You know how much Moms and daughters bond while shopping for shoes. I’m almost positive there will be an extra pair for her and one for me (don’t tell Hubby).
She also needs her bangs cut. And then on to the not so fun thing – organizing her desk. Peanut takes after her Mom for sure. There’s papers, books, toys, candy, etc. all over her desk that she uses for homework. This has to be done so that she has a nice, clean area to study.
I’m going to try something new with her today. She has a timer. So I’ll set it for 15 minutes to see if we can accomplish this chore by then. I know we can but it will add some excitement to an otherwise boring chore.
We’re off now. Those shoes are calling to us.
