• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • It Was A Good Time

January 26th, 2008 by Connie Roberts

Back home from shoe shopping with Peanut. Amazing but we only bought one pair for her. I’m still in shock. They only had shoes for the “winter”. We know that very soon we’ll be back to warmer weather so we didn’t want to buy boots or black dress shoes for her. She got a great pair of sneakers that she really likes.

And instead of just getting her bangs trimmed I had her get her hair trimmed, just to get the dead ends off so her hair will look nicer. She enjoyed getting the full treatment.

We did a little bit of shopping and even ate lunch out. We were talking about how she can’t wait for spring break. She asked if we were going to Disney but I couldn’t remember if Hubby had made plans for then. I teased her and told her we were going to Hawaii instead.

Peanut told me that she wants to go to Niagra Falls for a vacation. That sounds like a great idea to me! Maybe we can go to Utah to visit my in-laws and then make stop in Nevada. I told her about the strip and how we could stay in a Las Vegas hotel that had a theme like Paris or New York City. So now Hubby will be hearing about her wanting to go on vacation there. I’ll just tell him I have no idea where she learned about that!
