Almost Forgot
January 19th, 2008 by Connie RobertsOne day I’m going to take a photo of all of the meds I take on a daily basis. I’ll show all of you just how much money we put into pharmaceuticals, actually how much money Hubby’s fantastic health insurance does, thank God.
If we had to pay for all of the 13 prescriptions I use besides the five OTC’s we’d be broke. The copays really help us but they still put a dent in our income, especially when a doctor adds something or if I get a bacterial infection.
As I’m sitting here blogging I realized that I almost forgot my night time medications. That would be pretty serious since I take 8 pills at night. So I took a break, got a healthy snack of applesauce and an unhealthy piece of chocolate (a girl’s gotta live) and filled up my extra large cup of water.
Sometimes with all of these meds I feel like I need to go to drug rehab. I bet I’d be the winner of the “Who is on the Most Drugs” contest. Yes, me, the Christian woman with graying hair who doesn’t ever cuss.

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

LOL, I am not laughing at you but, laughing with you =) I have so many pill and vitamins to take daily, I had to get the largest 7 day pill box that I could find. When I get it filled up…you can barely clothes the top. This is the only what that I can even start to keep up with my medications. One only on Mondays…half of one on Sundays…etc., etc. Aside from the fact that they are not all “daily” I get brain foggles (love that) or even worse sometimes brain constipation! I also hear you on the “drug rehab.” Hang in there ~ Mandy

Hi Connie!
Yep! Thank goodness for co-pay! My husband takes quite a few prescriptions. But since diagnosed with diabetes we are hoping that once we it get under control he can get off some of his blood pressure meds! How have you been? Sorry I haven’t commented in a while, computer issues!
