Today was really a church day, meaning that we started out at 9:15 AM with Sunday School (we were a little late), then Sunday service at 10:30 AM and after service fellowship with some snacks until 12 PM. I took Peanut back to church this evening for 5 PM for a children’s program plus a family meal.
I got to take a nap after lunch as this day always makes feel more tired than normal. I’m not saying that I don’t love church. I do but it’s just a lot of time and energy for me. It was freezing this morning. I didn’t listen to the weather report or think about how cold it is in church. I wore a short sleeve shirt and a pair of open toe sandals.
I was cold in Sunday School and even colder in our service. A lot of people were complaining that it was too cold. We wished we had fleece jackets and gloves. But after I asked one of the Deacons to turn off the fans it got warmer. He must have lowered the air conditioner too.
Our service was great as usual. The sermon was on 1 Corinthians 3:1-4 – about how Christians can be immature even after years of being Christians. It gave me a lot to pray about as always.
I can totally relate to Sunday being a tired day. By the time I have gotten showered, dressed and eaten breakfast, I am ready to crawl back into bed. On the occasions that I actually have enough energy to drive to church, I find it difficult to fully concentrate on the sermon and I fall back into bed as soon as I get home! I have possible lupus/fibromyalgia/CFS.

@ Glenys Yes it it tiring but so worth it. I pray that you get a diagnosis and some help soon. Also I pray that your church can help you with possibly providing sermons or taped services for you if you can’t make it to church.
