Friends

What great friends I have! Thank you for sticking with me, offering support and advice. When someone is going through a tough time it’s easy to avoid that person. It’s too much trouble to be around them. They’re always complaining or crying. They are too much effort.

But my friends have stuck by me. I’m done with my whining (thank goodness!). As I wrote earlier I’m going through some growing pains. I haven’t made any decisions yet but knowing that I have friends to lean on helps a great deal.

One thing I’ve decided is that my family is suffering from what I’m doing. I hardly see Hubby due to work and then when he’s home I’m on the computer. Peanut gets my attention for a short time, but not enough either.

I have to put them first and let my time online be second. If we make enough money from our online efforts we can purchase an inexpensive laptop. That will help me to be out of the home office and with my family when I’m blogging. But before that happens or even if it doesn’t happen I’m making changes starting today. I’ll be online a lot less than normal. Setting time for my family will be my priority.

Your family should most definitely be your first priority. I spent a lot less time blogging while Jamie was up from Florida and to be honest, I rather liked the break!

That’s my struggle here. Arrange more family time. Working full time is hard and I spend little time with the kids but having a laptop really helped. Right now we are all in the living room watching Garfield and I’m blogging next to them on the laptop.
