I thought taking photos of a lighted Christmas tree would be easy – Not! I messed up every one. First my hands were shaking, not from caffeine withdrawal or any other type of withdrawal just from being me, then I realized too late I think I should have had the flash on.
So instead of the entire tree I bring you photos of some of my favorite Christmas decorations from our tree. I’ll try to take the tree again with the flash. And then there’s the gazillion other ornaments that we have around the house too. I’ll be busy for a while with my camera.
Our newest ornament from Disney. As most of you know I’m not only a Disney FANatic, I’m in love with Mickey Mouse. Add patriotism to the mix and you get this, one of our top ten now:

I have tons more and believe me when I say tons. But there’s only so much room on my blog. Well maybe not. Maybe I’ll add some more in the next few days. Oh this can be part of the 7 Things Meme that I was tagged for. I have 4 ornaments posted so far. I’ll post photos of 3 more for the Meme and then mention who tagged me when it’s done.
Peanut’s still sick. She has a fever now so I gave her the antibiotic today, don’t tell our pediatrician ok? I’m really trying to get her to feel well by Friday so we can all enjoy ourselves.
I’m still feeling overwhelmed but not as badly today. I’m focusing on the graduation weekend and getting things together for that. I’m happy for Lady Ali and the big step she’s making in her future. Two more years of graduate school and I know she’ll do well.
There’s lots to be happy about and to be thankful for so no more worrying. I’m being proactive and getting things done. Merry Christmas everyone!
