It’s happening, slowly but surely. Unfortunately without much help from me our house is getting decorated for Christmas. The outside is almost done. I’m sure Hubby has some more things he’ll want to add. The tree is up and decorated and a lot of our Christmas items are being set into place.
Peanut decorated her tree today. She has a purple one with a princess crown topper. I just love it. It was a gift from my in laws. She thinks she’s a big shot having her own tree and decorations too.
I’m still on the mend. Getting to church today was tough but I’m glad I went especially knowing that we’ll be missing next week. I slept most of the day. Peanut’s cough is getting much worse. I called the new pediatrician, who called back in less than a minute of getting a page (he’s fantastic!). He said to keep giving her the over the counter stuff as he won’t try to diagnose her over the phone but to make an appointment tomorrow.
Her cough sounds like asthma to me. She always gets sick around this time of year. When I mentioned the real Christmas tree to Hubby he got mad. He loves to have a real tree. I do too but if Peanut’s allergic to it, we’re going fake from now on.
I was able to put up some of the tree decorations last night. It lasted about 15 minutes until I felt my arms getting weak. So I supervised from then on. Hubby saved me some ornaments to do myself as I love to do the tree.
And yes I’ll be posting photos of both trees soon, and of the outdoor manger and how nicely Hubby decorated it. I was in tears when I saw what he did. He’s a good guy and I love him so.

My hubby put up the Christmas decorations all by himself yesterday – without supervision. I have to say he did a great job too!
And it really does cheer me up too. I love lights the best

Hey there, one year my son had a reaction to our tree, it was the first year I failed to get a frasier fir. I think I got the only thing left on the lot, a blue spruce or something. Maybe, she has the same problem and it could be the type of tree and not because it’s a live tree. Hope she gets better…
Happy Holidays
Looking forward to the pictures and I can certainly supply significant amounts of nagging if you need them to get motivated!
