• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • Photos of Leaves

December 7th, 2007 by Connie Roberts

I’m not big on sharing photos of me or my family. I’m always afraid of some crazy stalker coming to find us especially if I put up photos of my children. I know I’m over protective. I see so many bloggers with photos of their children. Maybe one day I’ll get over it. Then again with my OCD maybe not.

When we were in Atlanta for my Uncle’s funeral I took my camera along. I knew that the little cousins would be together so I had to get some shots of them. Plus as we were driving along or stopped in the funeral home’s parking lot of my Aunt’s community I got to see some real fall leaves.

In Florida we don’t have fall leaves. Peanut thinks if a leaf falls off a tree and it’s autumn then that officially makes it autumn. LOL. So I had to get some photos of the foliage for me to look at when I’m feeling down. As much as I love and I really do love living in Florida, I miss the fall. Nope not raking and re-raking leaves but the beauty of those colors. The rainbow of leaves all around.

I feel safe sharing this photos since all of the children have their backs turned.

My fall leaves are being covered with an inch of snow as I type this – ugh!

It’s so warm this year that the leaves are taking forever to clear out around here. I was afraid I’d missed the peak color, but a couple weeks ago hubby took me on a trip up the mountain, and there were still beautiful trees everywhere.

It’s so gorgeous around here in the fall. I didn’t get to take any photos this year since we were on the bike, but my mother-in-law did. I’ll have to send you some to enjoy when she emails them to me!
