For the last few nights I’ve been woken up by Peanut talking in her sleep. Well it’s not really talking because it doesn’t make any sense. It’s more like gibberish. I’m amazed at how poorly I sleep. I think that when I hit the bed exhausted that I’m down for the count and won’t hear a thing.
I do that if I take a nap but the at night the slightest noise wakes me up. I guess I’m not getting into the Deep Sleep stage. Sleep issues are pretty common for people with fibromyalgia. Although I feel like I’m getting enough sleep I’m actually not.
This lack of sleep can cause symptoms to worsen. They also cause me to feel so sleepy during the day. Sometimes it’s impossible to stay awake. I find myself with my eyes closing in the middle of reading, watching tv or even doing household chores. Then the lack of ooncentration gets worse too.
Peanut’s been doing quite well so I’m surprised about her talking in her sleep. Now if I can only get back to sleep.

I have a friend with fibromyalgia, and she has the same problem. She never seems to sleep very well and any little noise wakes her up.
