• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

  • More Chores Please

November 6th, 2007 by Connie Roberts

We recently started Peanut on a behavior modification chart. She earns something like an extra hour up at bedtime for a week, a trip to the park or a video game rental.

We’ve been thinking about using a chart for extra chores around the house. Peanut always wants a new video game, DVD or toy. We feel like she should start earning her own money for these kinds of extras.

Now with Payjr. we can set up on an online account to print out chore charts and pay Peanut electronically to earn money on a gift card for Target. This card is rechargeable so we just add the money as she completes her chores. She spends it and it’s all good. Plus she gets to learn about saving, spending and what it takes to earn money.

Chore please! That’s something we may be hearing soon. And that’s a great thing to any parents’ ears.

I might not be a parent yet, but I love this idea! As for getting the BidVitser into a blog… It took me like a month to figure out how to install PPP tool! :) ~Jerry

Too bad they didn’t have this around when my kids were little! I definitely would have used it!
