Tick Tock

I love clocks. It all started when my parents gave me a triple chime wall clock with stained glass. Ever since then I’ve loved the sound of clocks ticking and chiming. I sleep better if I hear ticking. The chimes don’t wake me but rather it’s just a feeling of relaxation knowing that they’re there. I like the idea of having to wind that clock so it keeps time. There’s just something about it that makes me feel like I’m home when I hear it.

I’m not sure what category I fit in when it comes to my kindred feelings with clocks as mentioned in the Grandfather Clocks Blog. I know I don’t want to control time or the world. I definitely don’t look at clocks as counting down to my death. So I either fit in with Henry Clay’s song, Grandfather’s Clock, as being in sync with my clock as I age or viewing my clock as a home decor item.

I’ve been looking at Howard Miller Grandfather Clocks since I’ve learned about their quality. I fell in love with a curio grandfather clock. I never knew these existed before. The one I like best is the Grafton II Grandfather Clock. It has an illuminated clock face, glass around the three sides, a black coffee finish, adjustable glass shelves and a Westminster Chime system.

Having room inside of a grandfather clock is so fantastic! I can put some of my keepsakes in there that are in hidden away in my cabinet. This way they can be seen and the light inside of the clock will do wonders! Having a curio Grandfather clock saves room, doubling as a lovely piece of art in its own right as well as a place to display your favorite items.

Finding just the right clock can be a challenge. But having a site that shows it’s expertise in new grandfather clocks can assist you when making this important purchase for your home. There’s all types of clocks to view and with 20 years of experience, free shipping in the US, free home set up in the US and 0% financing this is the place to shop for clocks.

1-800-4clocks has been featured on the Today Show and is a member of the AWCI – American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute. You can feel secure in shopping with them as you add a new addition to your home that will last for generations. Howard Miller clocks are one of the best choice you can make.

I have always loved grandfather clocks and wish I had not only the finances to have one but the room, too, as they look so out of place in a smaller home. I’ve always loved the chimes and the sun and moon faces and the regal tick-tock sounds, too.

    Maybe someday …
