You call this work? You mean I can write on my blog and get paid? At first I thought it was a scam, then maybe one of those get rich quick schemes, but no it’s for real!
When my blog was accepted by Pay Per Post (PPP) it was a major accomplishment for me. I’ve been blogging on and off but not very consistently because of my health. But when you get that email you realize you’ve been more organized because you’ve been writing more often.
Now I’m thinking about how I’m going to spend this extra money as it comes in. When I get an opportunity from PPP and do blog reviews I get paid if I follow their advertisers’ rules in my post. The kaching is awesome!
I first heard about Pay Per Post from a Mom’s group I belong to. The leader helped me to get started on blogging so that the day would arrive for me to submit my blog to PPP. Since that time I’ve also learned a lot about SEO, even got help to make my own website and met some great people along the way. And this has all happened through Pay Per Post. Oh and I now have a new blog thanks to a contest held on another Pay Per Post Postie’s blog. (A Postie is a person who writes for PPP’s advertisers.)
There’s even a My Space group, blog and lots of Posties on there too. That’s opened doors for me and my hubby’s online promotion. Just being a Pay Per Post blogger ups your traffic and helps promote what you want to. For me it’s my Chronic Illness and disABILITY advocacy and our eBay store. For others it’s different causes they believe in.
Now onto the good part, the money. Hubby and I have decided to set the PPP earnings aside in a savings account. By December we’ll use part of it for gifts and part of it for our charity giving at the end of the year. It’ll probably be 75% gifts and 25% charity since I started just a few weeks ago. Next year we’ll most likely do 50/50.
So why not join? You already blog. And you earn money when other people sign up under you. That’s why I have the PPP badges on my sidebar widget. It’s fun looking for opportunities or opps as they’re called. The forums are a nice place to meet other bloggers as well as a helpful place. And just think, every little extra you make helps.
My Mom has a old saying, “Don’t think two cents isn’t important. It will be when you need it to buy milk and you’re short two pennies.” You’ll make more than two pennies with Pay Per Post and you can buy more than milk.
