This coming Saturday night, September 8 I’ll be at Disney World for Night of Joy. This is an annual event where contemporary Christian musicians gather so we fans can get to see them live and enjoy Disney World at the same time. I’ve tried to attend as often as possible. I missed last year because of not feeling well and having issues with getting my scooter to the park.
This year though my absolute favorite Christian singer will be there, Steven Curtis Chapman. Hubby will be able to get off from work a bit early. So he, Peanut and I will head off for WDW with scooter in tow to sing, praise Jesus and do some dancing (me, I’ll be doing chair dancing – actually dancing in my scooter chair). This is an exciting event and one that we look always look forward to.
It’s awesome that Disney does this and we are grateful an opportunity to be in one of our favorite places while sharing our faith with others. I’ve got my camera ready and praying for some close up shots of SCC.
Believe you me there are lots of other great groups there that night too: newsboys, Mark Shultz and Mary Mary to name a few.

I can’t say that I’ve listened to any contemporary christian music, but certainly recall how uplifting the old timey hymns at my Granny’s church were. Sounds like an excellent dose of therapy! Hope ya’ll enjoy!
