Hanging by a Thread

My Peanut had a loose tooth. It was hanging out of her mouth, moving back and forth. She couldn’t eat. She was afraid to go to sleep. All I heard was “My tooth won’t come out but it feels like it will.” I couldn’t even get her to school today because she was scared her tooth would come out and would bleed. Yesterday I sent a note to her teacher asking if she’d please let Peanut have a cup at her desk in case her tooth came out. She was afraid if she’d bleed she would only have the faucet to rinse out her mouth.

I was at the point where I wanted to pull out my hair. I don’t want to hear about teeth again. Ever.

Oh by the way, when eating a crumbled up corn bread muffin, her tooth fell out. No blood either…..

  1. My kids always let me “look” at their super loose teeth, and while I’m looking, I usually give it a good yank. Typically, they come out right then and there!
