Back to eBay

I tried out a new site to sell online. In three months I sold one item…so needless to say I’ll be moving back to eBay. I’ll probably set up a store again. Although I have chronic illnesses that can cause me to need a break from this, my hubby can take up the slack. Even Peanut is old enough to help weigh, pack and address packages. Heck, she can probably even learn to list using a template!

So this weekend I’ll be getting down to the nitty gritty of getting a store back up and running. I’ve been gone from eBay stores for so long, I’l have some re-learning to do, but no biggie. I have a lot of help from one of the best non-profit organizations around. Actually they’re more like a family, DOUA – Disabled Online Users Association – helps differently-abled people learn to sell online. They do so much more. They help you gain confidence, understand when you’re sick or having a rough time of it and are always there for you.

Their site is open 24/7. No holiday breaks ever. And it’s run by 5 woman who volunteer their time. Marjie Smith is the founder and Executive Director. Debbie Baldwin, Administrator, Tanya Cropper, Assistant Administrator, Monica Doyle, Director of Grants and Fundraising and Sharon Johnson, Designer and Webmaster also are with Marjie through the thick and thin.
